Very happy outcome, would return
Thanks to those who encouraged me to seek lodging in Manhattan rather than New Jersey. This hostel was 2 blocks off Broadway on West 86th. Great location. Neighborhood was quiet, people friendly. We had a room w/ 2 double beds, a view overlooking the avenue from 2 large windows. The bathroom was right next door and we shared it with a family of permanent residents so it was clean, kept up and rarely unavailable when needed. We had service ... bijocro, a user of Tripadvisor.
