Though they're fairly strict about who can enter the hostel, there are no locks on the bedroom or bathroom doors, internet doesn't work, Wi Fi as advertised is not available, TV only has one channel, lockers are broken, lift is broken, you can't store anything at the front desk and the complimentary breakfast is a bagel. more on CitySearch

Very close to the red line train station, and red line trains work 24 hours. It takes about 1/2 hour to reach downtown (by train), but if you wanna enjoy Chicago the whole day, and all you need is somewhere nice,safe & cheap to sleep, ... more on Yahoo! Travel
