We have been staying at Sea Gull most every year the past 8 years, and it has become our favorite place on the island to stay. We have had stints at Channel View, Port Royale, La Mirage, Mayan Princess before settling on Sea Gull. It's about mid way on the island so you are about 10 minutes from Port A, and about 15 minutes from The South Padre Causeway where Snoopy's restaurant is (highly recommended). and another 5 minutes past that to HEB and Walmart Super Center.
