It is located close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, our favorite was the Kihei Cafe for breakfast and cinnamon rolls. more on TripAdvisor

The bedroom has a soft mattress with two small dressers on either side. more on TripAdvisor

We stayed fairly cool opening up the slider and having the ceiling fans on, and yes, can you ever hear the roar of the ocean!!! more on TripAdvisor
