Our exploration experience
We(Family of 4, one 7 yo boy, one 5 yo girl) decided to drive up Farmington Canyon today to check out Sunset Campground during a "day camp." We have thought about camping here in the past but wanted to check out the facilities before committing to an overnighter. Just a note, the drive up Farmington Canyon is rough, unpaved, narrow ... Directions
Located 8.1 miles up Farmington Canyon. Turn south at the junction with Francis Peak Road, then drive 0.6 mile to the campground.
