Not for Tenting
We were ready to go for our first camp-out with our new tent. We pulled off the highway into what looked like an amazing, clean place. After checking in we drove around through all the RVs and all the way to the other side of the campground- right next to the highway. They've changed since previous reviews.
We recently stayed at Round top and we had a wonderful time. The campround is very clean, the bathrooms were immaculate. We had no problems with the staff, they were always helpful. Trying to Be ALL Things
We have visited Round Top many times throughout the years. Know they have new owners - an outfit from CA I have heard. It seems they are trying to please everyone - especially families with young children. It appears that many parents just turn their kids loose and they run unsupervised all over ... Great cabins!
We are tent campers, but decided to see if we could afford to stay in a cabin during our stay in Gettysburg and also because it was August. Through the internet, I found Roundtop Campground. Wonderful time!!
My husband and I had stayed at this campground in June. We were very upset by the managers of the campground at the time. Their over all demeanor was horrible, and they didn't seem to care at all about us.
