DIRECTIONS
From the town of Upper Lake, Highway20, travel north on Elk Mountain road, ( County road M-1) travel approximately 20 miles or 45 minutes to the Pine Mountain intersection where you will turn left and head west onto forest road 17N23 the road winds uphill for approximately 3 miles. You will see signs on the left to indicate you are at Pine Mountain lookout the gate is at the entrance to the lookout road.
