Directions

Take I-80 to Truckee, Highway 89 north exit. Follow 89 north towards Sierraville for 17 miles to Jackson Meadows turnoff. Travel westbound on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. A secondary access is by way of Bowman Lake Road off Highway 20.

Miscellaneous

• Additional Info: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. This campground is closed for reservations from September 17 to May 15 but may have sites available outside reservation window for walk-ins. Weather permitting. No hunting, firearms, fireworks or chainsaws within campground. Normal season begins around middle of May to the end of September. This is part of the Jackson Meadows Campground.
