- We go here to hike, play on the playground, eat at the lodge, picnic, and learn about animals. This is a great place for everyone. They even have ranger classes for children. - This place was a wonderful surprise in North Georgia...not too far from Ellijay/Gilmer County. The Lodge was a beautiful spot that reminded us of the retreat in Batesville, Indiana.
