• Additional Info: Safety Notification Due to the state?s varying drought conditions, Florida state parks and county officials are working to determine the appropriateness of open campfires and charcoal or propane grills. Please call direct, or select the park homepage, at www.floridastateparks.org, for information on current campfire and open flame policies. Open for camping from November 1 to May 31. Reservations may be made for arrival dates between November 1 and May 31 for the upcoming season. The park remains open for day use year-round. Pets are allowed in overnight camping area only. Pets are NOT in the swimming areas. The park does not have a boat launch or a parking area for boat trailers. Please call the park office if arriving later than 5pm, (305) 289-2690. Pets are allowed in family camping areas overnight. Pets are welcome overnight in all the camping parks. Pet rules apply.
