Poor Management

The campground is nothing like the website. The office staff itself was very friendly and knowledgeble, the man the escorted us to our site, and helped us get settled (Roger) was very nice, very generous, and helpful, even bringing us firewood, and loaning us a cable connection, since the owners refused to supply us with one. Mary's Lake Lodge Overpriced and Bad Service

Any vacation is better than one at Mary?s Lake Lodge! In July 06 my family and I had a very disappointing stay at Mary?s Lake Lodge. There is rarely anyone at the front desk and when there is, they are rude and unhelpful. So disappointed.

The staff were VERY friendly and helpful and I really liked them a lot. However . . . . . My sister and I had heard wonderful things about how beautiful Estes Park was. Beautiful place, but it might be a little loud.

My friends and I were thrilled to find a campsite at Mary's Lake Campground in Estes Park at the last minute at the beginning of the 4th of July weekend, due to a last minute cancellation. Beautiful, but......

This review is actually for Mary's Lake Lodge (not Mary's Lake campground). We stayed at Mary's Lake Lodge for two days in July. The place itself is very beautiful, set just outside of Estes Park so very easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. However, the staff and a handful of rowdy guests at the lodge ruined the stay for us. The person who checked us in was friendly enough, but was not knowledgable about the site. We were given a map and when we asked where to park, she told us either parking lot was fine and the room was just as accessible from either.
