Directions

Highway 50, go 21 miles east of Placerville and turn left on the Ice House Riverton road. Go 18 miles North. After you cross the Big Silver bridge, turn left into campground entrance.

Miscellaneous

• Additional Info: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. The facility does not have water or electricity. You will need to either bring water, boil stream water, or fill your containers at the Sunset Peninsula Boatramp faucet. Motorized vehicles are not allowed over the barriers or on the associated bike trail. Off-highway vehicles may not operate in the campground or on the bike trail. No refunds for bad weather. Golden Passes do not apply at group camps. Pets must be on a leash at all times. It is a county law and helps protect pets from wildlife.
