BIDWELL CANYON: 68 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Highway 162; 8 miles east on Highway 162 to Kelly Ridge Rd, left on Kelly Ridge Rd to Arroyo Dr. SPILLWAY: 68 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Highway 162; 6.5 miles east on Highway 162 to Canyon Dr, left on Canyon Dr to Oroville Dam, and cross the dam. LOAFER CREEK: 68 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Highway 162. 9.5 miles east on Highway 162 to Loafer Creek, left into the park. LIME SADDLE: North of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Pentz Road; left on Pentz Road, take a right at campground entrance sign, proceed to Kiosk.

  • Additional Info: Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. LOAFER CREEK HORSE CAMPS ON RESERVATIONS YEAR ROUND! Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Locations of the floating campsites are subject to change. Contact the park at 530-538-2200 for current locations. Floating Campsite keys: Registration and key pick-up for the floating campsites is at the Spillway entrance station from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend. Call park headquarters M - F at (530) 538-2200 for the location of the registration site prior to or after this time period and on weekends the Lake Oroville Visitor Center at (530) 538-2219. Pets are Prohibited on the Floating Campsites. Floating sites reservations 04/01 to 10/31 each year. All other Family and Group sites at Lake Oroville are on reservations 04/01 to 09/30 each year, and are 1st come / 1st served when not on reservations. To book a Group site you must have at least NINE occupant
