Middle Meadows - Georgetown Campground

From Sacremento: I-80 east to Auburn. Turn off at Elm Street off ramp. Turn left at stop light to stop light in Auburn. Turn left and follow HWY 49 down the canyon across the American River to Cool. Turn on Highway 193, to Georgetown. Take a left at the stop sign, then go 22 miles to 11 Pines Rd. Make a left and stay on this road (Forest Highway 2) until you get to Middle Meadows Campground (approx. 25 miles).
