Directions

Highway 50, approximately 30 miles east of Placerville, turn right on Silver Fork Road 11N40 (just beyond Kyburz Lodge), travel approximately 2 miles to China Flat Campground. You will need a combination (issued with your permit) to unlock the bollard on the bridge. Signs will direct you to the cabin after you cross the bridge. There is a key to the cabin, which you will be given when you pick up your permit at the Placerville Ranger Station on Highway 50 in Camino, Take Exit 54 and go south of Eight Mile road.
