Big Sur Campground and Cabins is located 25 miles south of Carmel on Highway One. Driving time from Carmel/Monterey is approximately 45 minutes. You'll see our sign on the west side of Highway One. North Directions : From 101 take 156 west (at Prunedale, north of Salinas), or 68 west (through downtown Salinas) to Highway One south. Continue south on 1 through Monterey and Carmel. We are 25 miles south of Carmel on the west side of Highway 1, 1/4 mile south of River Inn. South Directions : From 101 north, take Highway 1 north at San Luis Obispo or 46 west at Paso Robles. From 5 north, take 46 west at Lost Hills. We are located 75 miles north of Cambria on the west side of Highway 1, 1 1/2 miles north of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park.
