Want to win a seven day, all expense paid trip to Austria for you and a friend?
The Austrian Tourist Office is holding a contest called “Its Got to Be Austria Facebook Sweepstakes,” where the winner chosen (and their guest) will receive a 7-day themed vacation package of their choice to Austria valued at $4,500.
To enter the sweepstakes, Uptake readers need only to become a fan of “Austria. Official Travel Info.” on Facebook. The winner and a guest will receive a seven day themed vacation package of their choice valued at $4,500.
The sweepstakes invites fans to explore all that Austria has to offer by choosing from vacations oriented toward “Food and Wine,” “Art, Architecture and Design,” “Nature, Outdoors and the Alps,” or “Classical Music and History.” Facebook fans can receive an additional sweepstakes entry by tweeting about Austria on Twitter using the hashtag: #itsgottobeaustria. The contest runs now through January 15.

I haven’t been to Austria since I backpacked through Europe with my husband in 1986. Recently, I had fun with Andres Noemayer, the Executive Chef on Holland America’s Ms Westerdam. During an Alaskan sailing, Noemayer shared his Austrian heritage with us during the “Chef’s Table” dinner.
I did have a chance to visit Switzerland’s Entlebuch, home to a UNESCO Biosphere. I’d love to visit the outdoor areas of Austria and go horseback riding. Hello Facebook!

i am in the university in uganda doing a business course, i have always loved austria and pray befor i die i will reach there. thanks if this opportunity has striked then iam glad. thanks
I am a university student in the US and studying social sciences and music education as well. I would love to go to Austria because I have never explored other countries besides the US. I can’t really afford it do to financial problems, but this trip would be worth wild for me to go and see what it’s like to be in Austria. Music is my life and without it, there would be no other self. This would be a great chance for me to explore what is the musical capital of the world! Thanks for this opportunity
