In 2008, Louisville police found a meth lab (not the one pictured) at the Economy Inn on Bardstown Road.
When it comes to choosing a hotel, my biggest criteria is flexibility. Sometimes I just need a room for a day; other times I might need it for a few months. And sometimes I need a room that can double as a meth lab. That’s why I always stay at the Economy Inn when I need a hotel in Louisville (I’ve never needed a hotel in Louisville).
Other features of this motor inn:
- it’s within a block of two Dunkin Donuts and just 1.6 miles away from A Beautiful Escort (yes, that’s a proper noun, and it’s just what you think it is), cause nothing’s more of a buzz kill than having to wait for caffeine except having to wait for an outcall appointment
- it’s just two blocks away from a highway entrance ramp, so it’s easy to make a quick getaway
- sheets are provided, although based on comments on Trip Advisor, wash them first to kill the bugs
Rates for a single room are $41.37 per day and $193.55 per week. Hourly rates aren’t available, perv.

I was waiting to see a North Carolina or South Carolina city here. Reminds me of my favorite Chinese take-out place in college. I had to eat there at least once a week. My last visit ever there was the night it was busted for a meth lab in the kitchen. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with me
Well, Zach. You certainly provided me with a chuckle for the evening. Love them Dunkin Donuts at 2 in the morning. Breakfast of champions.
