The upscale boutique Hotel Indigo chain has opened its second Canadian location with its new property in Toronto, Ontario.

Rooms at the Hotel Indigo Toronto Airport are equipped with over-sized beds and free wi-fi. Additional hotel amenities include a 24-hr business center, indoor swimming pool with sauna and a fitness studio, as well as complimentary shuttle service to the airport.
Dining options include Phi on the Fly, which serves up Starbucks coffee and quick bites, as well as the Phi Bar and Bistro for sit-down dining.
It’s also worth noting the hotel is also 100% smoke free and pet-friendly.
The Hotel Indigo Toronto Airport is predominately aiming to capture the overnight business traveler market with its location that is not only close to the airport (perfect for early morning flights) but less than 20 min from the heart of the downtown Toronto business district.
But for those coming in for a quick weekend getaway, the hotel is also located within 15 miles of many of Toronto’s attractions like Wild Water Kingdom, Woodbine Racetrack and the iconic CN Tower, not to mention several shopping centers.
Hotel Indigo’s first Canadian location opened two years ago in Ottawa, Ontario, and the chain plans to open its third in Vancouver, in time to provide lodging for the 2010 Winter Olympics. They also plan to open other properties in New York City, San Diego, St. Louis and Miami Beach by the end of 2009.

This looks like such a nice hotel! I was wondering if you know if there are any pet friendly hotels in Ottawa, because when my wife and I travel we always like to bring our cat. If we leave our cat at home he tends to get lonely and tear things up, and boarding him at a pet sitter is costly so we would rather just be able to bring him along with us. Thanks for any feedback on pet friendly hotels.
