Wake up refreshed from a good night sleep in the city that never sleeps. Deluxe king at the Hilton New York in midtown Manhattan.

Hilton New York City

My flight from San Francisco to La Guardia was late arriving in New York. I had missed the last shuttle of the evening to get to my midtown Manhattan hotel.  At this point, I wanted to go to bed and wake up in the city that doesn’t sleep. Needless to say, I wasn’t feeling like I was king of the hill – top of the heap. But my little town blues had melted away by the time I checked into my room at the Hilton New York City.

Hilton New York – Excellent Midtown Manhattan Location

Located smack dab in the middle of midtown Manhattan, the Hilton New York was ideally situated to tackle everything New York City had to offer. Like New York, the Hilton is big. It housed 2,058 rooms, with each floor offering four handicap accessible rooms. The Hilton New York also offered pet-friendly rooms – as long as your pet is less than 50 pounds.

Hilton New York Deluxe King Room

My deluxe king room #11, on the 33rd floor rented for anywhere from $299-$429. This luxury room included access to the Executive Lounge, which meant hors d’ oeuvres from 5-7 p.m. and a continental breakfast served from 6:30-10 a.m. Frankly, I wish that I had more time to lounge around in the comfortable bed – but New York City was waiting to be explored.

Not only was the breakfast tasty, the view over looking the park was excellent; a great way to launch the day sight seeing in New York City.
