It’s summer and it’s hot out, so what would be better than a getaway to a coastal city? How about a stay in an ice cream-themed suite in a coastal city hotel?
Well you can do just that at the Hotel Triton in San Francisco, where they have a special suite designed with Haagen-Dazs ice cream in mind.
Hotel Triton's Sweet Suite is Ice Cream Lover's Dream Room
The hotel’s “Sweet Suite” is decorated in the color scheme of a carton of the ice cream, while the headboard is designed to reflect the company’s logo. There are even ice cream-scented candles and specially-made plush Haagen-Dazs robes.
But the pièce de résistance is a chilled cabinet in the corner of the suite that is fully stocked with both classic Haagen-Dazs flavors and new releases such as the new Haagen-Dazs Five flavors. Not only fully stocked, but totally complimentary. That’s right – you can enjoy as many cartons of Haagen-Dazs as you want during your stay, without paying a penny extra.
A portion of each “Sweet Suite” guest’s tab is donated to the Haagen-Dazs brand’s charity of choice, Delancey Street Foundation. Guests can also purchase the custom Haagen-Dazs bathrobes and ice cream scented candles, with all proceeds benefiting the charity.
Depending on the package booked, a stay in this or one of the other “celebrity suites” starts around $300 a night for two.
The Hotel Triton is part of the Kimpton family of hotels and has been certified as a green hotel. This 140-room boutique hotel is located just two-blocks from Union Square, so it makes a great base for exploring San Francisco.
That’s good, because you’ll need to work off all that free ice cream.

Now that is totally my cup of tea! I wonder if they have belgian chocolate chocolate chip in that freezer. If so, i am sold!

We absolutely love this suite!! Just a quick hop over the golden gate for us, I have taken my elementary grade kids for “graduation”…!! Such a great central location, too.. gate to Chinatown, Belden Lane, Union Square, etc., etc.! So much fun:)
