Nantucket in the Spring

If you haven’t booked your summer vacation to Nantucket yet, don’t worry!  This fall, many Nantucket resorts are once again offering the Hot Dates, Cool Rates promotions where you can save hundreds of dollars on your vacation.  When I was in Nantucket earlier this spring, the locals told me that the fall is the best time to visit, because the weather is still nice, the crowds have thinned out, and the rates have decreased!

This fall, the White Elephant Hotel, the White Elephant Hotel Residences, the Wauwinet, the Jared Coffin House, and the Cottages and Lofts at Boat Basin are all offering the promotion.  At the White Elephant Hotel, rates range from $195-$465, and you’ll get a fall dinner credit of $25 when you spend $100 and $50 when you spend $150 at Brant Point Grill and a fall spa credit of two $25 spa treatment credits at the White Elephant Spa.  If you need more space, including a kitchen area, you’ll get the same credits at the White Elephant Hotel Residences, where rates range from $350-$600.

Couples traveling without kids who are looking for more of a getaway may consider the Wauwinet, which does not allow children under 16, and is 15 miles from the town center.  Rates at the Wauwinet range from $225-$475 under the promotion and include a fall dinner credit of $25 when you spend $100 and $50 when you spend $150 at TOPPER’S at The Wauwinet and two $25 spa treatment credits at the Spa by the Sea.

Bringing Fido?  The Cottages at the Boat Basin offer some dedicated pet-friendly cottages – and rates vary from $175-$240 under the promotion, and you’ll receive receive a fall dinner credit of $25 when you spend $100 and $50 when you spend $150 at Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant and a fall spa credit of two $25 spa treatment credits at the White Elephant Spa. Guests will also receive a 15% discount for breakfast and lunch at Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant.

Some dates are excluded from the promotion, and the rates are exclusive of taxes and other fees.
