A Common Room at the High Peaks Resort

Does your family enjoy winter sports?  If so, the “Your High Peaks Winter Adventure”package at the High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid may be just the vacation experience you are looking for.  The package includes three nights’ deluxe accommodations with your choice of winter activity each day.

Activities include the following:

  • Skiing and snowboarding at Whiteface Mountain (lift tickets included)
  • Cross-country skiing on Mt. Van Hoevenberg (trail pass, rental equipment and group lesson included)
  • Snowshoeing (trail pass and rental equipment included)
  • Olympic speed and indoor skating at the Olympic Center
  • Biathalon at the Olympic Sports Complex
  • Thirty-minute massage or facial in the Resort’s Aveda Concept Salon

This package is available from November 18th, 2010 through April 3, 2011.  Double occupancy rates start at $348 per person, and guests can decide to choose the same activity each day, or a different activity each day.  Guided trips, bobsledding, skeleton and ice climbing is extra.

The High Peaks Resort offers two indoor pools and two outdoor pools, as well as an Aveda concept spa.  Rooms include refrigerators, flat-screen televisions, complimentary high-speed internet access, and rainfall showers.  The resort boasts several on-site restaurants and is located right on Main Street and Mirror Lake.
