The oceanfront Ritz-Carlton, Naples sits on three miles of white-sand beach.

If you’ve ever hankered to stay at a five-diamond oceanfront resort, but your bank account protested, check out this incredible deal from one of the most upscale resorts I’ve ever experienced: The Ritz-Carlton, Naples on the Gulf coast of Florida. From November 28 to December 22, this magnificent hotel has set aside “25 Silver Rooms” available to guests at an incredibly low $125/night.

The deep discount is in celebration of the resort’s 25th anniversary, specifically being marked on December 4, 2010 (during which John Tesh will perform a concert, by the way). Because this promotion is only being offered for a limited time — and the deal was announced a month ago — some nights in that November 28 to December 22 time frame are sold out, but if your dates are flexible, there still is availability. The 25 rooms set aside each night are Coastal View, which means that they face north or south, offering a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico coastline.

To book rooms at this rate, you must use the code RCNRCNA when booking online or by phone at 800-241-3333. Once those 25 Silver Rooms sell out, you can still enjoy a good deal at $225/night for the Coastal Rooms; just ask for the Silver Anniversary Pricing. Special anniversary packages are also available, starting at $299/night and including not only Coastal View accommodations, but also a $25 nightly resort credit, bottle of champagne upon check-in and nightly valet parking. This package is for stays from November 28, 2010 to April 30, 2011.

Serene treatment room at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples.

The 51,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples also celebrates the resort’s anniversary with a range of silver-themed treatments that incorporate the healing properties of this element. Ranging in price from a foot cleanse for $50 to a $150 Silver Ionic Facial, these treatments are available November 2010 to April 2011.

Regardless of whether you want to add some sparkle to your stay with a silver-inspired spa treatment, I highly recommend some sort of pampering service at the elegant two-story spa. Even just a stint in the oasis of a facility — with hot and cold plunge pools, steam room whirlpools, saunas and outdoor mineral pool — is well worth the $35 fee to use the facilities (that fee is waived for use of the showers, steam rooms and pools if you book a treatment).

Finally, for kids in the month of December 2010, there are special events like theĀ  Teddy Bear Tea with Santa (December 11, 12, 18-24) and Willy Wonka Weekend (December 18-19) filled with all sorts of chocolaty goodies and sugary delights!
