Book Airport Hotels with ParkSleepFly.com
Regular readers know I usually book a hotel room at the Denver International Airport before early morning flights, since I live more than three hours away from Denver. Rather than wake up at the crack of dawn to drive to the airport and pay exorbitant airport parking lot prices, my husband and I will shop around for a budget hotel that offers “park and fly” packages.
Typically we make individual inquiries to each property that we might think offer a “park and fly” program. I’m so glad I met a managing partner of ParkSleepFly.com last week at the Social Media Strategies for Travel conference in San Francisco. His website will now do all the searching, pricing and booking for me!
Most major U.S. airports and a few international ones are included on this easy-to-navigate website. You can book a hotel with parking, or just a hotel room, at the beginning of your trip, the end, or both. Each hotel listing details how often a free shuttle to the airport runs; my favorite listings explain where the hotel parking lot is (i.e. “well lit area across the street.”)
Each hotel has a description of the property (many of the budget properties around Denver International Airport have complimentary breakfast) and some link directly to the hotel’s main website. Note, too, that ParkSleepFly.com also has listings for “cruise port” hotels in port cities like Boston, Galveston, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
I did a couple of test searches, and liked the results — $119 for the Comfort Inn DIA for up to 4 people and up to 14 days of parking (plus tax and a $5 transaction fee). That’s about what I paid when I stayed at the property over Thanksgiving.
Note that ParkSleepFly.com does include a $5 “transaction fee” when you book your room on the site. However, for the convenience of being able to search all of the available “park and fly” properties at one sitting, I, personally, have no problem paying the additional service fee.

I’ve used the ParkSleepFly for the Atlanta airport and it worked out great! We actually saved money by doing this rather than paying the airport parking fees. Plus, the hotel had easy airport shuttle transportation that dropped us off right at our airline.
