After three visits to this Best Western property in Redondo Beach, I feel as though I am pretty qualified to comment on this motel. And I must say, if business or leisure brings you to Redondo Beach, I highly recommend the Best Western Redondo Beach Inn on Pacific Coast Highway for your stay. Here are my top 5 reasons why:

  1. The hotel is family owned and well maintained. We like to stay in the main building, on the second floor, and our rooms have always been nicely appointed, with updated linens, attractive bathrooms and enough room for our family of 4. And the rooms are reasonably priced – between $98 and$116 a night. Be sure to check the Best Western website for web-only deals and advanced purchase specials.

  2. There is a restaurant in the motel that serves breakfast and lunch – and it is just like eating at your aunt’s house. If you order cereal, the server encourages you to select your favorite from the dozen she has available. Coffee comes in cute holiday cups (does not matter what time of year). And the restaurant is very kid friendly – ours received a little pre-breakfast snack of berries and cream that was quickly inhaled.
  3. The beach is a 10-minute walk down the hill (5 minutes if you borrow one of the beach cruiser bikes). Redondo Beach is not as well known as its northern neighbors, which means you are more likely to find ample space to stake your spot of sand.
  4. The motel is very conveniently located to the Riviera neighborhood of Redondo Beach. There, you will find cute shops, trendy and local restaurants and many other retail therapy options. Going east on Pacific Coast Highway, you will find many more conveniences to make your business or leisure travel successful.
  5. Free Wi-Fi. Need I say more?

All in all, this is a fine place to stay in Redondo Beach and I recommend it for families, couples or friends traveling through the South Bay of Los Angeles.
