Graphic designer Philippe Guilmin who runs this B and B, has created four themed rooms, plus a studio for longer stays, that will please anyone with an interest in travel and the arts. Chambres en Ville is right next to Place St Boniface known for its restaurants and nightlife, close to the European Parliament and about 20 minutes walk to Brussels’ historical centre. A metro stop is also conveniently located close by.
Originally an artisans’ workshop, this vast house has been transformed into a comfortable, artistic and unique residence, while maintaining many of its original features, such as the workshop and horse stables. Drawn from Guilmin’s vast experience in art and design and combined with his love of travel, each room, inspiringly named, offers a unique space:
Retour d’Afrique with its wooden floors, African block prints and roughly woven rugs.
