Though Las Vegas is nicknamed Sin City, it can also be quite the city for romance. Luxury hotels, fine dining from world-famous chefs, steamy shows and plenty of wedding chapels – it all sets the stage for a romantic evening for two.
So if you’re going to do a romantic getaway to Las Vegas, these are the places to stay at if you want luxury at an affordable splurge.
1] ARIA
Situated in the central portion of The Strip, this resort is part of the CityCenter complex, which gives guests access to lots of fine dining options, shopping and Cirque du Soleil’s “Viva Elvis” show. Rooms are decorated in warm neutrals with jewel-toned color accents and among the room amenities is a remote that allows one-touch control of room features from lights to entertainment.
On Valentine’s Day, a Deluxe King starts at $169, with city view only $30 more; suites start at $275. However, use promo code AR129W25 when booking and get a free $25 ARIA daily resort credit to use for things like dining.

2] Bellagio
This Italian-themed resort has a romantic air to it before you even set foot inside your room. The fountains out front; award-winning restaurants like Picasso, Le Cirque, and Michael Mina; Cirque du Soleil’s “O” show; and Jean Philippe Patisserie with it’s huge tri-chocolate fountain display are but a few reasons why.
Rooms are decorated in warm neutrals and have a classic elegance to them. On Valentine’s Day, rates start at $179 for a standard room, but splurge and upgrade to a Lakeview Room ($229) or Tower Deluxe room ($249), which allows you to watch the famous fountain show from your own room (the music is even piped into your room, if you wish).

The Paradise Tower and the HRH Tower are two of the newer additions to this hotel and they are gorgeous. Paradise rooms rely on darker colors and lots of texture for an intimate, sensual feel. HRH rooms are actually suites, with a separate sitting area and lots of high-tech gadgets, including a digital touch-panel juke box.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a Paradise Tower King for only $90 a night. Over in the HRH Tower, a Supreme Deluxe Corner King suite starts at $132. And if your relationship is all about play, you can really splurge and book the Provocateur Penthouse, which among many sexy highlights, includes a secret vault full of toys, equipment, costumes and more.
Now that’s rock’n'roll.

4] The Palazzo
Every room at this resort is a suite, so even a standard has 720-square feet of room, including a sunken living room. The resort is home to several fine dining establishments and guests also have access to all of the amenities at its sister resort, The Venetian, such as TAO restaurant, which is a feast for the senses.
For Valentine’s Day, a Luxury King Bed suite is pricing at $179 – $219 if you want a better view. These prices also include food and drink discounts, as well as a buy-one-get-second-half-off gondola ride coupon. How romantic would that be to do?

They say Paris is the City of Love, but if it’s not in your budget to travel to France, then this resort is the perfect substitute. You can even have romantic dinner on the Eiffel Tower, with great views of The Strip.
Skip the regular room and splurge on one of the Red Rooms. The bold red accents and signature sofas shaped like lips are perfect for creating a sensual romantic mood. For Valentine’s Day, a Red Room starts at only $160 a night.

This sleek tower stands at the near-north end of The Strip, so higher floors have floor-to-ceiling windows with great views of the city and surrounding mountains.
On February 14th, a deluxe king room costs $279, with upgrades to a better view only $50 more. However, stay for two nights, and enjoy a complimentary daily buffet breakfast (one of the best in Vegas) included, with rates starting at only $229 a night. Use promo code dlxbnb when booking.

[...] Boutique hotels are not usually what I look for when searching for a place to stay in Las Vegas. I had the opportunity to change my opinion of staying off the strip and in a small, boutique hotel when I was there for a friend’s wedding. The wedding took place at Rumor Vegas, an off-the-strip, all-suite hotel with 150 newly-renovated rooms. Rumor Hotel opened in mid-2010 after completely renovating from the old St. Tropez Hotel directly across the street from the main casino entrance of the Hard Rock Hotel. [...]
[...] Valentine’s Day is not celebrated by most people in Spain. In Barcelona, and all over Catalonia, ‘Will you be my Valentine?’ translates to ‘Hallmark holiday imported from the USA’. Still, boxes of chocolates and red roses are making their way into Spain, like it or not. If you want to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Barcelona, there are some hotels and restaurants that will offer specials for the 14th. Or, consider one of these cozy restaurants which may not specialize in romance, but are snug spots for lovers none the less. [...]
