Really Unpleasant Experience

My wife and I are loyal trip advisor users, and made our decision to stay here in large part because of the reviews. But what we experienced bore no resemblance to any of them. We were looking for an inn that not only looked clean but smelled clean. Most inns smell of air freshners (to hide odors?). None of that here. Our room was delightful. The bed very comfortable. We've stayed at better B & B's

First thing we noticed when we were showed our room is that there's no airconditioning. There is a window fan but when it's raining really hard like it was when we were there windows have to be closed. A ceiling fan would have been much better. Stifeling at night. Truly a unique inn

We stayed here both in the summer and the winter. This is a special place. The innkeepers are warm and real. You could eat off the floor the place was sooooooooo clean. Relaxing stay in well-appointed B&B with charming, informative hosts

My wife and I wanted a relaxing time after 2 weeks of busy activity. I specifically looked for a B&B that was in a less-busy part of Vermont, and tried to find hosts that were well-informed about the area and S. Quebec. The Lake Salem Inn B&B was a very good choice.
