First class all the way...

My husband and I stayed June 25 and 26 at the Booth House Bed and Breadfast in Gonzales, TX when we went to the Luling Watermelon Thump weekend, a trip down memory lane for my husband. I found the lodging after an Internet search and we were very pleased with our choice. This neglected historical house had been purchased and refurbished by Al and Dawn O'Donnell, who have created a wonderful home away from home for travelers. Making a last-minute booking, we were lucky enough to find the only room available offered a queen four-poster bed with the most wonderful pillow-top mattress, a fireplace (cozy in January and decorative in June), and a private bath across the hall. The other two bedrooms on the second floor have ensuite baths.
