Wished we had stayed elsewhere

My family stayed in the cottage across the street from the main house. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the property we stayed in. There were several electrical outlets and recepticals in the main living room without covers. This is a hazard in itself but ecspecially if you are trave... I was born Elizabethton, but left to find adventure. I return as often as possible since I still have family there. Staying at the Doe River Inn is so serene and peaceful. Excellent Experience

My family and I have stayed at the Doe River Inn many of times. I have never had a bad exerience! I have stayed in the larger house with my whole family and the cottage across the street with just my husband. I never want to return home. My husband & I were in town from Melrose Park, IL and rented the little cottage. Frank & Mary were exceptionally welcoming. Loved the Doe River Inn

The Doe River Inn was wonderful: modern, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and served whenever we wished. You feel more like a houseguest than a client.
