The small inn is located in Beaufort's handsome historic district, a walk to downtown, and I've stayed there easily a dozen times, most recently last weekend. more on TripAdvisor

Food was excellent and reasonable, many of the establishments on the river. more on BedAndBreakfast.com

But it certainly appeared that they were willing to toss us out of our reserved room in order to facilitate a later reservation for more money. more on TripAdvisor
