Needed directions on the drive up from Harrisburg at 1:30 a.m. Jamie, who happened to be at the front desk was very helpful, and was even waiting for my wife and I outside as we pulled in. Jim Thorpe is a great getaway spot from NYC and The Inn seems like the place to stay if you want a central location and some historical charms. Park the car and enjoy walking around a town that looks like it hasn't changed much from the Civil War.
