Nice enough but not outstanding
I almost hesitate to write because all of the reviews here have been 5 star, and I took them all into account when choosing our place to stay in Hood River (so our expectations were pretty high). This home is immaculately restored and each room decorated with such care! The photos on the website don't lie; the rooms really are that nice, and the rain showerheads really wonderful. Rainbows and Fireworks, Loved it!!
Rainbows seem to be a fact of life in the Fall in Oregon but everyday they were spectacular viewed right from the house, especially during the generous Breakfast. My boyfriend and I decided to stay at the last minute in Hood River and after viewing other places in the area, Villa Columbia had the best accommodations. Boba and VJ were wonderful hosts. My wife and I went to Hood River for a wedding. We had a wonderful time! Our hosts were kind, the place was beautiful. It had been fixed up such that everything was in great condition, but it still had an older feel.
