Our Stay At the "Bates" Hotel

Don't be deceived by the gorgeous location of this establishment. This was the worst "mini-vacation" that we ever had. The place is beautiful with lovely views of the water. But that is it.

Overall, a beautiful B&B, nice location, friendly innkeeper. The only negatives: We stayed in the Marina Room, which did not have its own temperature control. The room was very warm. We, just returned from a weekend at Seatuck Cove House in Eastport NY. It is a wonderful bed and breakfast on Long Island's southshore, Moriches Bay.
