Descriptions from Across the Web

  • Retired geologist Bruce Black wanted to build an office in a cave, so he gave some laid-off Grants miners $20,000 to bore as deeply as they could into the side of a cliff face. This luxury apartment was the result. Through time, it worked better as a living space than a work space, and that is wh... more on Frommer's

Loved the peace and quiet!

We had a great time at Kokopelli's Cave. It would be hard to find a place more private or unique. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the sunset, feeding some birdseed snacks to the local bands of squirrels, chipmunks and ring tailed cats, and basically just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kitchen, LR, BR, gorgeous bath, two ledge balconies. About two miles out of town on a dirt road, down a rugged path and finally a short ladder. This... Cubro, a user of Tripadvisor. Definitely a unique experience

Amazing B&B. Quiet and peaceful. Plus there was the "how did they do that" factor as the cave is manmade and fully furnished. The hike down is a bit tricky so we made sure to ... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor

One-of-a-kind experience!

We read somewhere that Kokopelli's Cave was named as one of the 10 most unusual places in the world to spend the night; I'd like to know what the other nine are! To call it a "bed and breakfast" is a misnomer; the place is so unique that it'd be tough to put a label on it. Just call it "fully equ... SFcatamount, a user of Tripadvisor.
