- motels in carlsbad are generally old and of poor quality and they tend to compete based on dubious claims made on their roadside more on Tripadvisor
- comfortable and quiet. Room was very adequate and had a great bed (really need that with a bad back) more on Expedia.com

- say nice about this motel though! once I entered my room, I noticed a foul smell, a highly stained carpet, an unclean toilet more on Tripadvisor
- also have a playground next to the pools and the kids enjoyed the swings and playhouse very much more on Tripadvisor
