An expensive B&B for its worth and an owner with an attitude

Last weekend I went with a friend to Sandy Hook Cottage in New Jersey. I found the place clean and very well furnished, but rather expensive for its worth. Rest and Relaxation at its Best!

Living in Las Vegas and staying at some of the top rated hotels on the strip has really spoiled me and I expect alot of the places I stay at, but having just returned home from a 5 day trip to NJ and staying at Sandy Hook Cottage has really showed me how wonderful small B&B's can be. Beware of Cancellation Policy, Giving Credit Card Info!!

Beware of their punitive cancellation policy, NOT mentioned on the reservations page or over the phone, but on a separate page, called "policies", which we were not aware of until we were charged the full amount for a cancelled reservation!! You Won't want to leave

We arrived Friday Night, The grand tour was taken, the room was post card perfect. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed more. THe rooms were all lovely.
