I spent five perfect days as a Windy Hill guest and loved every aspect and every minute. FROM THE SOUTH ON ROUTE 16 IN JACKSON, TAKE 16A THRU THE COVERED BRIDGE. AT THE GRAMMAR SCHOOL GO STRAIGHT AND TAKE 16B NORTH TO WHITNEYS INN. BEAR RIGHT PAST BLACK MTN SKI AREA. TAKE THE NEXT LEFT WHICH IS BLACK MTN ROAD. DRIVE TO THE END OF THE ASPHALT, THE DRIVEWAY IS ON THE RIGHT. FOLLOW THE WHITE ARROW. IN THE WINTER GOOD SNOW TIRES ARE REQUIRED. TOTAL MILEAGE FROM THE VILLAGE IS ABOUT 2.5 WARNING. THE MAP QUEST MAP IS INCORRECT. DO NOT TRY TO FOLLOW MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS. THERE IS CONSTRUCTION IN NORTH CONWAY BUT OTHER THAN FRIDAY OR SATURDAY EVENING IT IS NEGOTIABLE, USE THE NORTH-SOUTH ROAD BY WALMART OR TURN LEFT AT THE LIGHT IN CONWAY AND WANDER UP THE WEST SIDE OF THE RIVER.
