Great Place!

I read a bad reveiw for this place and could not believe it. I had to write one of my own. We stay here every year for the last 5 years. We LOVE it. We will definitely visit again!

The Melville B & B in New Bedford, MA is an absolutely wonderful experience. The house is gorgeous and maintained with a labor of love from Ron and Stan. Ron bakes incredible blueberry scones!!! Wonderful Place!

I also read the bad review and couldn't believe it. I have been there many times, most recently last August, and have found The Melville House and the hosts, Ron & Stan, most charming. Quiet, great host and food

My husband and I wanted a quiet B and B in the heart of New Bedford for one night and we chose the Melville House. Our room, the "Garden Room", was a lovely place with its own entrance and an extra single bed tucked away in an alcove -- great for reading at night and not disturbing your partner. ... One of the best B & Bs I know!!!

Proprietor Ron Mack and his partner Stan Paltz do everything to make a person's stay relaxing, comforting, serene, and exciting.
