Great Place in the Berkshires

If you ever get a chance to travel to the Berkshires, give the Historic Merrell Inn a try. The Inn is beautifully maintained and the Innkeepers are extremely gracious. Good property, bad service

The historic property is very well maintained by the innkeepers, but the customer service was very poor. When I booked, it was for a specific room for 3 nights, then when I called to confirm the day before arrival, they all of a sudden said that we'll have to switch rooms mid-stay. We pleaded for... Directions

From I 90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike) use Exit 2 at Lee. Follow the signs for Route 102 and Stockbridge at the bottom of the ramp. The Inn is about three miles from the exit on the left hand sign. Look for the long white picket fence.
