not the best

This B&B was not our choice, we were given this as a gift and we needed to use the gift certificate before it expired. The property is located in a secluded wooded area which is truly lovely. Unfortunately, during the walk from the lot to the front door we were knocked out by the very fresh strong scent of recently applied manure to the landscaping--not a great welcome. There was a lengthy note attached to the door for us, giving us detailed information as to where our room was, local amenities, etc. and an explanation that the hosts were at a family wedding and would not be available to welcome us. As much as we understand that family commitments come before business, we made these reservations a month beforehand and I assume the hosts were aware of this event at that time and they did not alert us to this when we made our reservation. ... myszia, a user of Tripadvisor.
