Description :The Herbert Carruth House, built around 1877, is one of the landmark historic properties in the Ashmont section of Dorchester and overlooks one of the loveliest residential streets in the City of Boston. Our property was built in the Victorian Second Empire style and is featured in three books on local history. We are in the process of slowly restoring the house.Advance reservations and a deposit are required to guarantee your reservation and we have a two-night minimum stay. Please note that the balance of payment is required on arrival by cash or nationally recognized traveler?s checks in US$ only. CHECK-IN TIMESOur check-in is between 4pm and 10pm, but if your schedule makes that inconvenient, let us know and we will make adjustments to accommodate you if at all possible.
