My Worst B&B Experience Ever!

With so many nice B&Bs and inns in the Acadia, we only ended up at Penury because we reserved at the last minute. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Relaxing at Penury Hall

Penury Hall is a lovely B&B right in the heart of Southwest Harbor. The owners are an older couple who have lived on the island for many years and have a lot of fantastic information for travelers. Something between a college flop house and grandma's

The first thing to note is that the "private" bathrooms are not actually connected to the bedrooms. The elderly couple provides a sheet with an African print for you to walk in to and from the bathroom, and you'll be lucky to avoid bumping into one of them or another guest in the hallway.
