Beautiful seaside tranquility at this B&B

Visited Georgetown Island for a friend's wedding at the neighboring Grey Havens Inn and were lucky enough to land a room, at the very last minute, at this beautiful B&B just down the road. We stayed two wonderful relaxing nights in the Violet room at the Mooring and spent the weekend exploring nearby towns (great for exploring, antiquing, ... Idyllic Bed and Breakfast on the Ocean

This was the third consecutive year we stayed at the Mooring B & B, all of our visits in Sept and Oct. Hostess Penny Barabe has done a most thoughtful job of catering to the needs of her guests. Guests have access to the entire premises, including a sun room and spacious deck overlooking the ocean and a quaint Spanish style room with satellite connected TV. Directions

Maine Turnpike to Exit 6A, pick up 295 North, which becomes 95 N. Exit at 22 or 24 R1 N. Stay on Rt 1 N, go over the Bath Bridge. Take right at Dairy Queen 127 South for 12 miles, turn at Seguinland Rd. We are 1/2 mile on left.
