We have stayed some wonderful bed and breakfasts in Hawaii. This one was on the ocean and advertised good food, so we thought great.
The place was real moldy and service poor.
Old food, older than a year placed in rental refridgerator. Dishes were not washed well and not put through dishwasher.

Fantastic

We stayed at Kia'i Kai for 3 nights in August 2003. We had a fantastic time. The house is gorgeous and sits right atop a 20 foot black cliff. It is on the east side of the big island where the seas are very rough, so all day and night the waves crash against the rocky cliffs spraying water into the ... rocketsci, a user of Tripadvisor.
