Avoid if you can
The web page is deceptive. From the web pictures, it appears that the property is very close to the beach, but nothig like it. It is as far from the beach as any other place south of Kona. my husband and i took our honeymoon on the big island. we picked diver dan's b & b in honaunau based on his website. we booked 10 nights with him, paid our deposit, and then headed out. his b &b is just like the pics on his website. however we didn't bargain for as much "community time" as we got with him. some people may not have been bothered by the socialization. however, negative comments regarding ...
