Charming, warm, wonderful

What a strange place. An abundance of negativity amongst the staff

The campground is beautiful, as is the property. We rented a two bedroom cabin called The Bears Den for $165 a night. It was disgusting as it was impossible to get the smell out of there and when we went to the lodge and spoke with someone about it they acted surprised!!! All I could imagine was that the people who run Enota, Swan Freed seems to be the head honcho, must never go into these cabins. We checked out several of them the following morning ... A little strange and odd. Very weird vibe going on there.

First, I would not consider this place a "retreat". Total throwback from the late 60's. The cabin/campground area is pretty small and compact. Directions

From Atlanta go I-75 to I-575 and follow it up to Hiawassee. Go thru Hiawassee til you come to 17/75 and turn right and go 6 miles, turn right on Hwy 180 and go 3 miles to entrance.
