More like a hostel than a luxury B&B
We stayed a couple years ago, but I just wanted to add my two cents, since there are not a lot of reviews here to go by. My family and I like to travel to CT from NYC and stay overnight on weekends when we have the opportunity to get away. what was expected to be a quality B and B was not. The staff did not speak english, knew nothing as to the area, or even what taxie company to call. The room was clean but poorly furnashed; just two uncomfortable dining ... a traveler, a user of hotels.com. Read full review on Hotels.com

Decent place for a weekend
Nice area in general. We came from Italy and that was more or less what we expected. Some details need attention as for instance the old pieces of furniture and the fake flowers that actually look fake. The variety of breakfast items was poor. Was fairly disappointed. Did not know this was a bed and breakfast because it was not listed as such in the hotel listing. Place was old, but nice in the lobby. Rooms were just OK, beds were hard and pillows were flat. Didn't think the rooms were that clean. I asked the B to split the charges ... a traveler, a user of hotels.com.
