Perfect base for skiing

We've stayed here a couple of times and have more weekends planned. Lovely rooms with not so much as a hint of chintz, friendly and easy-going owners, charming historic building right in the middle of old Truckee. Wendy and Matt were very friendly. The Inn provided us with a quiet place to stay (the train whistles could hardly be heard as the Inn was quiet inside, must hve been the double paned windows).
